Does PicoWay target red tattoo ink?
Each wavelength targets a different group of colours: 532nm for reds, yellows, violets and browns; 785nm for all blues and greens, including pastels; and 1064 nm for black and dark blue inks. PicoWay makes it simple to target and destroy multiple tattoo colours with just one device. As the pulsation rate is so fast the procedure can be done in less time. Shortening removal time and the amount of sessions required. This speed also allows for a more comfortable treatment and a drastically reduced chance of risk.
With past technologies, often referred to as Q-switched lasers. Lighter coloured tattoos were nearly impossible to fully remove without the risk of scarring and pain.
